The powerful WHERE I COME FROM based on the true story of a federal court civil trial. Racism is exposed in a suburban warehouse and its affect on the employees is explosive, as they relive their own interpretations of what defines discrimination in the work place. WHERE I COME FROM is a tense courtroom drama of Guyanese-Indian, Haitian, Jamaican, Irish American, Puerto Rican and African American witnesses who defend, perjure, incriminate and deny their way through the roller-coaster trial. Written with the support of The Orchard Project’s Residency Writing Workshop WHERE I COME FROM is set to World Premier at KRT.
